DC 53 Makes Donation to Marshall Alumni Big Green Chapter of the Mid-Ohio Valley

IUPAT District Council 53 recently made a donation to support the Marshall University Alumni Big Green Chapter of the Mid-Ohio Valley in its donation efforts.

The Big Green Chapter holds donation drives throughout the year to help local families and children, including benefiting the Children’s Home Society.

Laurie Martin, president of the Marshall University Alumni Big Green Chapter of the Middle Ohio Valley, said giving back beyond fundraising is important.

“It’s important to go outside of our annual fundraising events and help people in need, especially families and children. Even if it’s just a little bit, it can mean a lot.”

Brian Stanley, Business Manager, Secretary, and Treasurer of IUPAT DC 53, said the DC 53 was glad to support the effort and continue working with Marshall Alumni BG MOV to give back to the community.

“We’re always happy to support the Marshall Alumni Big Green Chapter of MOV and give back to the community, especially when it helps families and kids in need.”
