Third-Year Apprentices Gain Hands-On Experience with Trim-Tex, Staining, and AMES Certification at FTI
This week, our third-year apprentices were at the FTI Training Center learning how to use Trim-Tex, architectural reveal bead, and tear-away bead.
They also worked on a staining project—learning how to brush and apply different types of stain.
In the spray booth, they practiced spraying a clear polyurethane finish to complete their projects.
They also trained with mechanical tools to build out their skills even further as part of a AMES certification class.
They also worked on painting an American flag mural for Union Trades Federal Credit Union in Parkersburg.
Great hands-on experience and proud work!
