2025 Coating and Corrosion Expo Draws Over 200 Attendees!

The 2025 Coating and Corrosion Expo was a resounding success, bringing together over 200 attendees for a full day of learning, networking, and hands-on demonstrations.

Hosted on April 17, 2025, the event offered IUPAT DC 53 members and industry professionals a chance to sharpen their skills and stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving coatings and corrosion industry.

The day kicked off at 8:00 AM and maintained strong momentum with a lineup of specialized classes. Participants explored the latest innovations in hydro and water blasting techniques, as well as cutting-edge testing, abrasive materials, and coating solutions. Highlights included:
8:30 AM – Elcometer Course on New Testing Methods
9:45 AM – 10x Abrasive Course on New Abrasive Materials
11:00 AM – Sherwin-Williams Course on Coatings
1:00 PM – Abrasion-Resistant Overcoatings
Beyond the classroom, the expo featured dynamic live demos and gave attendees the chance to network with peers, vendors, and industry leaders.

From seasoned tradespeople to apprentices eager to grow, the expo proved to be an invaluable experience for all.
