DC 53 Apprentices Learn Labor History from Dr. Sam White

We would like to thank Dr. Sam White, a professional labor historian, for visiting DC 53’s Training Facility in Weston to speak with a group of first-year apprentices about labor history.

This class helps apprentices gain an appreciation for the history of their organization within the broader context of the labor movement and the evolution of the building and construction industry.

Our apprentices learn to identify patterns in labor history that they can apply to better understand their present and contribute to moving their union forward into the future.
