Weston Volunteer Fire Department Supports Training at FTI

We’d like to thank Bill Woofter from the Weston Volunteer Fire Department for joining us at the FTI Training Center today.

Bill helped put on a basic Fire Protection Awareness class for our first-year Vac Truck & Water Blast Technician apprentices.

With hydro outage season approaching, this training focused on real-world preparation—including the safe and effective use of fire hoses on job sites.

Since we can’t legally connect to fire hydrants at our facility, the Weston VFD stepped in to help. Their support gave our apprentices valuable, hands-on experience they’ll carry with them into the field.
