IUPAT DC 53 talks with Wood County Students at CTE Camps

The International Painters Union Allied Trades District Council 53 participated in the Workforce Development Board Mid-Ohio Valley’s CTE Camps at the Wood County Technical Center today.

Students from Wood County high schools had the opportunity to not only learn what the IUPAT do, but listened to other trades they can explore after graduation.

During our presentation, we shared what type of apprenticeship programs we offer, what the training will be like at the FTI Training Center in developing skills, job security, and fair wages.

We also talked about the wide range of resources and support available to our members.

Our next CTE presentation will be in Jackson County at Ripley Middle School on Monday, July 10th.

We can’t wait to talk to more students and show what the IUPAT is all about.
